In 1876, The Neue Zionsharfe was translated for a second translated for a second time. This time into the Serbian language. Translated by the famous poet Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj, due to his faith, it contained quite a bit of Orthodox theology, it was republished a couple years later with that theology removed. This hymnal is used in Serbia; Akron, OH; Los Angeles, CA; Toronto, Ontario; and Malme, Sweden.
