Harfa Siona

From FröhlichHistory

Back to Hymnology

In 1896 the Neue Zionsharfe was translated and published in the Slovakian language. At the time, the Czech translation of the Scriptures was used by Slovaks, and therefore this translation of the Zion's Harp was done in a corresponding, archaic version of Czech. This translation still enjoys some use among the diaspora, but is being phased out.

In the 1990, the Zion's Harp was translated into Slovak. This edition is used in Slovakia and Serbia.
