Notice to the Assembly

[edit]

Bibles: The Elders of the Grdder have kept a stock of the previous translationof the German Bibles for our Community Bibles are intended for all congregations and are now available in three editions : a desk Bible with large print, suitable for the desk. Also available for use in households is a hand or house Bible, somewhat smaller than the desk Bible , and available with either a strong or flexible cover , depending on your preference. The pocket Bible is also available in the size of our Zion Harp, but somewhat thicker .

The prices of these three editions can only be announced after the shipment arrives , including costs . The elders of the brothers have reported that as long as this supply of Bibles is available , no one should purchase any of the editions of the Bibles according to the new translation of 1956.

Praying: In the assembly house and in community & also in family circles, there should be order, kneeling forward with faces towards each other, and not turning backs as has been done previously.

Driving: It has been found necessary to warn against the Disrespect & disregard of the laws & regulations in car traffic, because it has been shown that those who are now accustomed to driving with only one key out of habit often do not observe the speed limit regulations and so on , and whoever does not follow these rules is guilty before God, on the basis of the following: " Be subject to all human authority for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as in authority, or to the captains, as they are sent by him for vengeance on the wicked and for praise to the righteous.", 1 Peter 2:1-15 verse

Communication to the congregations

[edit]

Bibles: Do not purchase Bibles from the new translation (1956) as long as the previous Bibles are still available. For this reason, that the previous editions of the Bibles in German (Fraktur script) will no longer be available, the elders have arranged to procure a version available in three different editions for distribution.

Prayers: In the assemblies: The general prayer should not be a sermon.

What is prayed in the general prayer should not be repeated in the meal prayer, and it should not be a long prayer, and brothers should pray aloud. There should be no sleeping during prayers.

The prayer should not be passed on: if an elder brother asks or addresses another brother to take over the prayer or to lead it, another brother should not further request or pass it on, as this creates an unnecessary burden. Instead, if he cannot lead it, he should inform the elder brother, expressing that he would appreciate it if another brother could take over. This way, the elder brother can assign or hand over the prayer to another brother depending on the circumstances.

Greeting of the Belivers" "Greet one another with the holy kiss" The beloved elder brothers found it very necessary to discuss this quite thoroughly, The greeting should be among the Brothers: "Greet you, dear Brother" as well as among sisters: "Greet you, dear sister" The first name should be omitted. Similarly, in telephone conversations, the name "Brother" or "Sister" should be omitted or not used. The greeting of the brethren should take place in the assembly hall whenever possible. (It should not be in the restroom). Based on the words: "Greet one another with the holy Kiss" It has been understood that Sisters should use the headscarf when greeting each other as well as with the brothers in the community, in general as well as in the houses.

The holy Kiss should not take place at funerals, and should be omitted.

The greeting to friends should be: "Greetings" but for farewell: "God protect you." The name of the respective friend can also be added to the greeting.
